The worst update in the history of Kobold Adventure is now live. It entails but a fraction of the content I had planned to include, although what little wordcount there is, is pretty darn okay in terms of quality. I did not have fun making this update, and only today I think I figured out why.

I typically hop from scene to scene as fancy takes it, writing parts in all branches of the storyline. As of late, we have been focusing on nothing but the Varanar marketplace, and it took me until today to realize that was taking a toll on my writing.

I had been recommended by a few people to focus on Varanar in an attempt to move the storyline forwards, but I'm just not the kind of person that can stick to one branch for an extended period of time. I need variation, and for the next segment, that's what we'll be doing. We can come back to Emeraude another time.

On top of the low wordcount, one new piece of art has been added to the farmer's maid route, courtesy of JarnQK. Anyway, I am really sleepy. Sorry for taking so long to produce so little. I hope you'll at least like what there is. Polls on what to do next and what character sheet to make tomorrow, along with a new distributable. Good night.

I dont see why you're apologizing you didn't do anything wrong I mean some creators are like that and that's ok you just do what makes you comfortable cus in the end that's what will make your work that much better (viewpoint of just a player😅)

Yes, I also agree with you that sticking to one branch for a long time is a bit annoying, especially for a creative person.

Not sure where to post this, but I noticed that the Bigboy option doesn't seem to notice you have the potion in your inventory.

TinkeringTurian

The bigboy option is not yet implemented, but it *should* recognize that you have the potion. I'll test this later.

i just what to say I'm pretty late to this party but I understand where you're coming from I have done some serious writing in my time well this is for D&D so it's not that comparable and yes if you're more comfortable jumping to one thing to another then do that it makes you feel better and it makes the game feel more fresh do want makes you happy you probably don't see it but if you're happy making something the product comes out better
