What is it about? (Patreon)

The next update, Forest to Varanar, part two, will detail what happens after Moe passes out in the middle of the river. The kobold will awaken, still in the water, having drifted downstream all the way to Varanar. They were out for an entire day, progressing the clock to afternoon two.

Moe attempts to swim further downstream, yet finds their body too weary and battered to make it to the docks. Trapped by steep walls on either side, they struggle to find a place to rest their worn legs. Then, almost resigning to drowning, they spot an old sewage pipe, sticking out like a smelly, sore thumb. With the last of their strength, they swim towards it, and hoist themselves into the sewage system.

However, the pipe is a bit smaller than anticipated. Right as either their legs, or their face pops out of the tube, the kobold gets stuck. And that's when they find out that they are not alone in the sewers. Lots of fun things ensue.

Scaffolding for this scene is almost done. Writing will begin tomorrow. I'll start with the legs-first segment, so the identity of the sewer monster can remain unknown, for a little while longer. I hope you'll enjoy reading this scene, as much as I will like writing it. Note that the content will not be something that everyone will be completely into, but I hope that a majority amongst you can find at least some segment that you enjoy about this entire scene.
