I am sick (Patreon)

Hello, guys. The plan was that yesterday, I would make a post stating that work on Kobold Adventure had resumed after a small interlude. However, I woke up feeling like absolute dogshit, with a throbbing headache, so I went back to bed. Four hours later, I woke up again, and half an hour after that I was back in bed once more.

I could barely stay awake for more than ten minutes at a time, and a thermometer revealed a pretty darn decent 38.5°C fever. The rest of yesterday is an agonizing blur, where I was stuck between consciousness and unconsciousness while wracked with near-hallucinogenic dreams. I could barely walk to the bathroom, during the frequent yet short intervals that I was actually awake, because my limbs were weaker than wet noodles.

This hell on Earth continued throughout the night. Wracked by fever dreams, my only recollection from the past ten hours is periodically waking up to have a sip of water and check my body temperature. Luckily, my fever steadily declined, from the thirty-eight degree inferno it once was, to a more manageable  37.5°C.

And that is my current situation. Still technically a fever, but not a majorly crippling one. I hope my body temperature will continue to cool, until the fever is gone completely. If it rises once again, I will be promptly seeing a doctor. The headache persists, but it, too, has lessened. With some luck, this'll all have blown over by tomorrow.

I am sorry that I could not bring you guys in the loop before now, but I could hardly stay awake, let alone form coherent sentences in writing while boiling from the inside-out. For now, I'm going to see how long I can stay up without needing to lay back down, hopefully at least an hour or two. I'll make a new post once I feel prim and proper, and then work on Kobold Adventure will resume. I apologize for the delay, and I hope you guys will enjoy the remainder of the prostitution segment of Varanar, Night Three.

UPDATE: Things went rapidly south after writing this post originally. My fever gradually ramped up during the day, to a whopping 39.5°C. I immediately went to see a doctor once I could walk again, and now I am on some pretty darn heavy antibiotics. They keep the fever down somewhat, but now my stomach is in a constant state of uproar, with various unpleasant results on both ends of my body. Anyway, I'll try to keep you guys posted as best as I can. Thanks for all of the encouraging comments!

UPDATE 2: Here is a picture of the antibiotic pills that have kept me awake for most of the day, despite wreaking havoc on my digestive system. Let's hope they continue to keep my temperature down throughout the night, so that I can recover and get back to working on Kobold Adventure in no time! Thank you all for your patience, and at the very least, I hope to be able to release the Night Three update thing before the end of the month.
