Crab Battle is live (Patreon)

Update 2.445 (Crab Battle), better known as the Deepwoods, Night One, part two update, is now live. Content, but not as much as I originally set out to provide. New art, too! Let's go over what happened this week. As there wasn't anything super-major added, the version number has only incremented by one half, and no new downloadable was made available. A new one will be created during the next update.
So, the update wasn't scheduled until tomorrow at the earliest, and the day after tomorrow at the latest. This is because I wanted to add the entirety of the greet-branch in one go. If I had worked my ass off until the day after tomorrow, I would have probably succeeded in that regard.
But, today, while finishing the second of the three possible paths in this branch, I began to feel a little drained of inspiration. The words just weren't coming to me as swiftly as they should have been. And I personally think my writing suffered because of it.
You can call it a writer's block, or a temporary loss of appetite for this scene in particular. Whatever it was, I decided that it would be better, for both me and for the scene, to cut this particular segment of writing short here, before I burn myself out, and before I half-ass the rest of it.
As such, instead of the entire greet branch, you get two-thirds of it, two days before the deadline. I still owe you that third part, and while I'm not up to the challenge right now, I'm sure we'll get back to it at some point or another, when I'll be able to do it more justice. Along with that third part, there'll also be the two missing options from the rest of the scene, but those are worries for later.
On top of the reasonable batch of textual content, for such a short timespan-update, there's also new art made by NekoFY, for the massage parlor scene. A generic shot of Moe and Orange for the intro, and one for the oh-so-delightful backrub you can get from the sun-colored kobold. Good stuff! Go check it out in the game, or in the gallery, whichever you prefer.
I'm going to keep this update post rather compact and succinct, so I can relax a bit, and then go to bed. I'll put up a poll on what to do next tomorrow. I'm sorry for not completely finishing the path I set out to make, but I hope the limited duration of the update will somewhat make up for it, and I hope you guys can understand why I made the decision to cut it a little short.
That's all for now. Thank you all for your continued interest in Kobold Adventure. Enjoy what little new content there is, and I'll see you all next time, on letting myself down a little more with every new update, the adventure. See yah!
