In the latest update, a lot of bad things happen to Moe. None of the kobold's stats, however, change to reflect these horrors being inflicted upon our green-scaled protagonist. Why not? Because they no longer matter in this end-scene, and I thus didn't want to waste my time on them, instead focussing on pumping out more content.

I now provide you, my faithful fans, with three separate options, which will determine how I deal with stat, status and body changes in this particular scene. If I am pleased with the resulting piece of work, then the option chosen here may be implemented in all future end-scenes.

The first choice: Leave it as-is. No stat changes. No status changes. No body changes. No inventory changes. No changes at all! The kobold stays exactly the way it is, in every panel but the game-text itself. The fastest for me to work with, and it provides an uninterrupted flow of text, like a true story should be.

The second choice: Stat changes, in a few rare cases. No status changes. Body changes. Inventory changes. Apart from the status screen, everything is kept up to date with what happens in the storyline. That includes gender and virginity-statuses. No change-notifications, providing the same uninterrupted flow as the first option. Not too much work, not too much gain either.

The third choice: Change EVERYTHING. Stat changes, status changes, body changes, inventory changes, change-notifications. The whole shebang. This makes end scenes indistinguishable from regular scenes. Frequent, pointless status change notifications might grow annoying, though. Plus this'll take more time to make. On the positive side, this'll allow me to modify statuses in end scenes, and then test for those statuses later in the scenes and make different things happen. I doubt I'll do that very often, though.

So, the choice is yours. Pick whichever option seems more logical to you. Discuss which one you think is best in the comments below. If you have a unique suggestion of your own, feel free to pick other, and tell me what you think should be done. Choose wisely. Your wish is my command, but be careful what you wish for.

You're already being a perfectionist about everything, and taking your sweet time to get all the things as good as they're ever going to be. I think you can afford to take a break in this particular instance.

It honestly felt jarring that there WEREN'T status changes during the events of this update, considering every other scene in the game uses them.

I think some changes are a good thing when warranted to reflect the story

I have a 50/50 split between change nothing and changing something stat wise. As TT said, this wouldn't really effect the outcome, the text won't really change anything plus it could be a way to show how trapped Moe feels; no matter how they improve or change their fate is sealed, it's dark and it would fit with the narrative quite well. However stat changes may also give insight on how Moe is destroyed emotionally, seeing their sanity start fine but near the end goes down to 0 as the situation becomes more and more dire. Personally, I think this is your call, not mine or anyone else.
