Low Energy is live (Patreon)

Update 2.25 (Low Energy), better known as the Varanar, Noon Three (part one) update, is now live. It contains a visit to a kobold soup kitchen in Varanar. Things might go better than expected, unless you're too rich to belong. Scene tree can be found below.

I'm going to be honest with you guys, this is probably the smallest major Kobold Adventure update in recent history. Roughly five thousand words, far less than I would have hoped. I knew this wasn't going to be a full-sized update, but I just hoped I could have made it a little bigger, y'know?

Alas, what's done is done. With some luck, I won't get bogged down by server work for the next update, which will be a visit to a store on the grand avenue of Varanar. If you want to know what messed with this update's schedule, check out my previous post.

I'm in dire need of another programming week (or perhaps even two). The problem of Kobold Adventure being split up into too many files is becoming a real issue, an issue I'd like to solve.

I know how to fix it: write a compiler that shoves all of the code into a single javascript file (or perhaps even bundles it all together with the HTML) and then serve that. I need time to make all of this, though. So, next week, either I'll be working on the next update, or I'll be making this compiler, depending on what human-tier patrons and up decide!

Regardless of whether I end up doing a programming week or not, the second half of Varanar, Noon Three is next up on the schedule. After that, Varanar, Afternoon Three (for which I already have something guest-written, so it'll get pushed out faster). And after that, either Enslavement, Afternoon Two, or another vote, depending on how I'm feeling.
