I'm going to be honest here. I want to reward you guys, but I have no idea how or what I'm going to give you. I've thought this over on multiple occasions, and I just don't know what to do.

Therefore, I'm asking you. What would you like me to offer as rewards to incentivize you and other people to contribute to making Kobold Adventure the best darn game it can possibly be?

Things that have crossed my mind are "suggest a kink", "suggest a species" and "suggest a location" as tiers, but I wouldn't be able to guarantee that I'd actually end up actually doing those things, because they might not fit the story as a whole.

"Have your character mentioned" would just end up in a bunch of random names without any real meaning behind them thrown in. "Decide the attitude of character X" might end up altering the story.

Restricting access to Kobold Adventure in any form or way is off the table. Everyone, even people who don't pay a dime, should be able to enjoy everything the game has to offer.

Write a comment below, or make a community post stating what you feel like the reward tiers should and/or could be! Hopefully, I'll have this entire ordeal figured out somewhere next month.

In the meanwhile, I'll be working on the next update, which will involve plant-tentacle sex. ETA pending. After this update, I will begin to work on either the hamlet or Varanar itself.

A kobold rebellion or thieves guild would be awesome. think about it: a society that is practically built to screw over and exploit a single race to such an extent that outright murder in the streets is allowed, wouldn't it be reasonable to think there would be a resistance movement? Even if the kobolds are physically week and somewhat naive, the concept of a few dozen pissed off kobolds with rocks and hit-n-run tactics(and/or an underground network of kobold sympathizers and mutual social rejects) is at least fun to think about.

point taken. most of the patreons that I support do doodles and animations on the side to create more content that: 1) they want to do anyway and; 2) doesn't interfere with their main projects. short stories could be fun, but really anything that would show off your creativity, and enjoyment of what you do, would be a great incentive to suport your patreon. maybe doing this type of thing would even inspire future projects down the line.

Well, the best suggestion I can offer is that you allow patrons priority in deciding what the next update will entail.

I agree with Patrick. Giving patrons sneak peaks into future updates like stills, .gifs, and sample text would be about right for an award. Maybe for those who give a little post pin-ups or sample art, perhaps allowing patrons an early download link before the public update goes live.
