It looks like all Dorothy did was move the parting

Andrea Andrew

Another Joyce character moment, some unknown flirting between two women, aesthetic, and a pop culture reference. Well done.

The narrator: she did keep the hairstyle.

I just see it swept one way, then the other. The rest is inferred.

I can't help but think of that strip where Joyce is standing behind Sal in the morning as she fixes her hair, inaudibly whispering "can I brush it".

Rapunzel is probably the most relevant Disney princess to Joyce

Andrea Andrew

At this point, to be a rebel and cope with certain possible revelations, I could see that happening. It would look good on her.

So are we ever getting any flasbacks in yellow? To give the story a mood like, um, Joyce Wick?

Bagge

Look Joyce! Dorothy likes your dress and she brushes your hair!

Joyce doesn’t care for your rhyming, poetry, and she won’t respond to it

Daniel

The hair *wasn't* parted before. The bangs would always turn with how she's facing (you can see it in the July 3rd comic). With the parting, it's all swept towards the right, regardless of how she's facing (see June 8 and June 10).

Andrea Andrew

I’m not even kidding. She’s had that part since the timeskip. I guess she really liked what Dorothy did. Can’t imagine why.
