Early update for January 13, 2020 (Patreon)

YEAH, that's yesterday's early update up there.  BUT HERE'S THE THING:  Patreon's functionality is currently BROKEN, keeping me from unselecting the $1 tier from seeing these updates.  Which, whatever, fine, I'm okay with folks getting a bonus.  BUT my usual routine would mean the $1s would be seeing tomorrow's update BEFORE today's real update, throwing stuff out of order, and that's no fun.  

So.  I've put today's update above.  It'll be deja vu for you $5+ers.  

Tomorrow's early update is below.  Everyone's free to read it!  And if reading it early throws you off or whatever, hopefully this chunk of text will be sufficient "spoiler space" for you to back out of your browser.    I'm not sure how these updates visually manifest in your email inboxes.
