Oh my. Ohhh my. It's taken me a few days to post coz I didn't quite know how to express my gratitude for all the love we've recently received on our Patreon!
From all of us here - me (Giordano), Lucy (who does all the voices for the Honest Government Ads) and Ellen (who you'll be familiar with from most of our recent videos) and the rest of the team who contributes from time to time.... a seriously heartfelt HIGH-FIVE!
Since our last HGA on the Great Australian Bight (which has racked up 4M views on Facey), we've had 121 new Patrons sign up to support the Juice Media. Welcome aboard you legends!
Thanks to you - and of course to all the legends *already* supporting us - we've smashed past our $2k/month goal, ensuring we can keep making kickass HGA vids into the future.
We're also quickly approaching the next milestone which will allow us to expand this operation (not too fast, as we always want to ensure quality over quantity) and embark on new Juicy projects (more on which soon!)
One of these days, we'll make a Behind The Scenes video, just for our Patrons, so you can can get to know us all a bit better...
But for now, I'm sharing a couple of pics - to remind y'all that despite outward appearances this is a bona-fide home-grown, organic DYI, lo-fi lounge-room project - and as such, it simply wouldn't exist without your support.
Which brings me to an important point: We make the vids but it's YOU who give us the power to keep going. ✊
What I'm saying is: we're in this together (So if we go to jail for our #GenuineSatire, you're all coming with us) :P
Ok just kidding (but do come visit us at least)
Seriously though: we don't take this work lightly; despite the lulz we're also on a wee mission to slay the bullshit artists, and this kind of backing from our audience means we can truly have an impact.
