This story is my life right meow 😭😭😭

This definitely speaks to me. My childhood was rough and I can resonate with the characters in this story. I love how in depth this story is and the nuance of a simple movement, object or expression. This is just such an amazing work of art and Im so grateful to be able to read it. ❤️

I love LMB. Really, I enjoy every chapter ❤️. Now I don't really see the depth people are talking about as I think some situations and characters are a bit cliché and predictable and nothing wring with that at all. And while I agree it is not for everybody, I mostly think it's because of the themes evoked in the story and not because the complexity of it. This is really not hate, but my honest opinion as a reader. I also feel a bit confused about all the extra informations you give here to explain some behaviours, train of thoughts or situations. I feel like we should be able to understand those just by reading the story without having to refer to some external explanations or extra details. Again, no hate, this is my respectful (I think) opinion.

Hello Sady, We appreciate your reading LMB. We do not comprehend your use of the pronoun "we." As it appears, you are merely expressing your own thoughts and do not speak for the entire audience. The majority of readers comprehend the information provided. Additionally, we would want to clarify that the additional material provided to "explain" certain behaviors or mannerisms is not intended to explain everything, but only some things. Nearly all explanations would be contained inside the comic itself. Also, your assertion that the plot is predictable and 'cliche' is a stretch. You are basing your opinions on only 23 chapters, which does not even cover the story's midsection yet, given that LMB is anticipated to contain over 100 chapters. We have not yet reached the end of the first season. In any case, the characters are not intended to be cliche or predictable, and they just have their own personalities, idiosyncrasies, and flaws, which, yes, may appear cliche to some readers because we must adhere to certain tropes utilized in the majority of comics/stories people read. It has been revealed that Shoto suffers from DID, which makes him extremely unpredictable, which is why he may come across as perplexing and you can never predict how he would truly react to a given circumstance because you must first determine which of his personas is in control. It is unreasonable for you to characterize LMB as a shallow story, given it possesses depth. The world-building, characters, and events are rich with hidden knowledge, allowing the reader to fully appreciate the plot. As the creators, we would like to know what you perceive to be a story's depth. What do you regard as a cliche? What do you perceive as predictable? Can you accurately predict the complete plot of LMB? How do you believe it will conclude? What do you think will transpire next?

Like I said, it wasn't a hate comment at all! And I used "we" as a mistake, it's just my brain translating my native language in english. Anyways. I said it was my opinion. I certainly not speak for everyone. And I certainly never pretended I know how the story will end. I am just talking about some situations and characters. And like I said, nothing wrong with that, like you said, you follow some tropes that are often used. It's just some details, like Goro feeling jealous in court, Sho's dad punishing his son for the drug abuse, I kinde felt that was coming. Doesn't mean I don't appreciate it in the story. When I say cliché, I think about Goro for exemple, who is that big, cold man on the outside but deeply cares for Shot. When I think about depth, I think about complex characters and deep dialogues and I do not say they are not, I just say that now, at the early stage of the story, I do not feel the immense depth people are talking about and actually feel like we only saw the surface of the characters. You said it yourself, it's the early stage of the story. I read a lot...like...A LOT. So I've seen characters like that before, that's all I say. I don't know how to say it without it sounding like it's a bad thing or that I have ill intentions saying that, because that's really not ny point. I didn't mean to offend or angry you in any way.

Thank you for posting this. You’re right, this story isn’t for everyone, but the people who are reading this do so because it resonates with them. I think through the main characters slowly healing themselves, the readers can heal a little bit too. I really love this story and I look forward to everything you have planned for LMB. 🖤🖤

This hits close to home and I actually appreciate just how much LMB discuses this issue. Especially since children are just imposed and obligated to feel that family is the only truth, a truth that can only be good even if it’s not, they don’t know any better until they grow up. I love the complexities that comes with these issues and believe that it’s well portrayed in the story because reality is complex and there really is no real answer at times. Of course, not everyone will understand and it isn’t for everyone but it’s still something that anyone can possibly learn from and take away a new emotion/feeling/information, THATS what makes LMB so amazing and I believe very important to the community. BLs just put in these elements but without the consequences or just to amplify the nasty. LMB is more of a discussion, I appreciate it very and hope you guys see it to the end and one day I’ll be able to purchase it as a book :3

Okay, We are still attempting to comprehend the source of your confusion. which we don't understand. You state that you are confused about some of the material, so please let us know so we can clarify it. We cannot repair personal issues with how you interpret the complexity of a story or the depth of the dialogue. Everyone perceives information differently, so some readers may perceive depth in things they can strongly relate to, while others, such as yourself, may require more convincing. However, you generalized the story by claiming it lacked depth based on only 23 chapters, which renders your entire argument invalid. As authors, we would also like to stress that there is nothing wrong with adding cliches and tropes into your story, as some cliches and tropes are entertaining and some readers appreciate such stories. We cannot comprehend the reaction to the usage of cliches, but the story is neither predictable nor formulaic, as you claimed. No worries, we're not upset or furious and we're only curious about your confusion about anything to see if we can clarify it.

It's exactly what I said 😭 Nothing wrong with cliché. Now you are the one generelazing my comment. I never talked about the whole plot, I literally used the words "some situations" 🥲. When I say confused ( sorry english is not my first language) I mean, I sometimes don't understand why details are given after the chapter to kinda "explain" or clarify idk, some events or dialogues or whatnot. I am not confused in a sense that I don't understand what they mean. I do believe your brain is full if details and ideas for your story and that you want to share, which I understand, and imo, I sometimes feel overwhelmed by all those details that don't really fit the story YET! Hope you understand what I mean.

I personally believe this is the deepest piece of art I’ve ever read. The way that everything unfolds perfectly and a lot of dots will soon be connected keeps me so infatuated! I find this story extremely relatable. Thank you both sm for making this! ❤️❤️

I honestly believe that y’all are doing a great job at showing what you want readers to acknowledge. I think that’s why I love LMB so much because. It doesn’t just show all the black and white of life but situations that’s shows gray areas. But in those gray areas it’s still okay to have boundaries and it’s okay to heal. No matter the pace. (At least that what I take from it.) and so much more. I legit love this so much.

I have NEVER had a story catch me from the first episode the way this one has! I look forward with baited breath for every Sunday! I’m grown, like, in my 40’s grown, but I can see my younger self in these characters. The takeaway just cemented that for me. So, thank you so much for this, I can’t wait to get a hard copy of this story. It will be the first one I’ve felt compelled to buy❤️

LoveMurderBasketball

Thank you very much for your wording Pillow! We are glad we can try to portray that, and we will try our best in the future as well!

Same!!!! I’ve never liked a manga enough to buy a hard copy, not even enough to become a patron until now!!! Sundays are my reward for surviving another week in corporate hell 🖤🖤
