Dear CA3D Community,

We are thrilled to announce the top 12 finalists of our CA3D Painting Contest! Initially, we planned to select a top 10, but with so many incredible entries, we had to extend it to 12. Your creativity and talent have truly amazed us.

Daniel Hampton

Minis and full scale statues just don't belong in competition together. There should be separate categories or a predetermined scale for the contest. The techniques used, and therefore the end results, are so vastly different along with people's tastes (I 100% prefer the look of a full statue over the "mini-technique" look). This was the biggest criticism everyone had of the last contest and clearly still is. Love the models but the rules, or lack thereof, for these contests just seem to create strife in the community, which is why I didn't bother. Plus the fact that Dad won't even see most of the models that people thought he would be judging, is a bummer. Just my two cents...

I submitted my model for the competition and I still have no idea if it was accepted. I never saw it shared on the CA instagram. I was hoping to at least compete I have no idea if mine was involved. I followed all the rules too. My suggestion is to find a way to acknowledge participants by tagging them I suppose… I realize that’s a daunting task but reviewing each one is probably far more of a challenge. Congratulations to each winner. Well done by each one.
