hear me out. There's still speculations to what Gabriel's wish actually is, but it would be SUCH a PLOT if this was what his plan was after marinette talked him down. Before, he was going to bring emilie back to life at the expense of someone else's life. I don't know if Adrien can count since he's a sentibeing. Sentis can also be human but of course, their life is a little more fragile compared to humans. So I like to think that when Gabriel feels bad in the finale, and starts realizing the love that emilie put into raising Adrien, he kind of changes his motives slightly, but his intent is still selfish. He also knows that Natalie is dead/dying because of him. So he tries to make it right by bringing her to life in exchange for his and also, turning adrien into a real boy at his girlfriend's expense since Gabriel knows how much Marinette loves Adrien. Basically I just want him to remain a villain even after his death, whatever redemption they tried to pull for gabriel at the end I reject it lol
