Beefcake of July 2022 #2 - Lion-O (Patreon)

Hey there guys, here is the 2/2 of the full Patreon reward for this month's poll! The second winner was Lion-O from the original 1985 Thundercats series! I'll admit that I have only ever watched 1 episode of the 80s Thundercats and it was the first episode so I'm not gonna sit here and pretend like I was a big fan of the original series since I have yet to actually watch the show in full yet (maybe some day I will!). However I remember seeing Lion-O when I was a kid and in my mind I was thinking "Wow he's so cute!" And of course as I got older and learned of my sexuality, that "cute" made sense and he was a total hunk, an 80s hunk if you will because his 2011 redesign was very cute, I can't lie haha.

Anyway his OG 80s design is super iconic and he should be inducted as one of the hottest guys of 1980s animation imo but I'm getting sidetracked! That all being said, it was a dream come true having the opportunity to draw this kitty hunk, namely his hair because it's so fun drawing long and wild locks. I'm honestly surprised that there is hardly any bara style fan art of this guy tbh, you'd think he'd be a go-to for that 😅
