July 2020 #1 - Beefy Zak Young (Patreon)

Hey there guys, here is the 1/2Full Package rreward for July of 2020. The winner for the voting poll for this month was the handsome Zak Young from the 1992 animated movie Ferngully! I loved Ferngully as a kid but I must admit that I didn't re-watch that movie as much as some others as a kid but even back then, I thought Zak was just so dreamy haha. He had that surfer vibe going on with the tan skin and blonde hair and I just loved the 90s aesthetic of him. Needless to say, Zak Young was definitely made for the beefy bara style and I had a lot of fun drawing him in the style! 

Now for those of you who may be wondering why he isn't fully shaded, I wanted to go with the cartoon style of the movie and in the movie, they didn't shade the characters and it made them look even more cartoony in style so I wanted to apply that sensibility here and I think it turned out very nice. If you haven't seen the movie Ferngully, I highly recommend giving it a watch sometime. It's not the most amazing film but I do think that it's a good piece of 90s animation and I think you might love Zak himself!
