Greetings once again! 

This week we have one of those more technical screenshots for you all. 

After the last public demo was released, we had many people ask us whether there will be more gagtalk in the game, like there was in Didnapper 1 and Bonds, to which we replied that yes, there will be, but we want to record that near the end of development, and we want to have some infrastructure ready for it first.

Well, what you see here is the result of a system our programmer Pwa has been working on, which allows us to have more customizable sounds in the game, especially regarding gagtalk and potentially some degree of voiceover. As you can see, you can with this set the volume for them seperately from the rest, in case you'd like to only hear certain sounds, or you play somewhere you're afraid someone will hear those sounds (or if you are one of those who just find the sounds annoying :q )

For us as developers, the more useful feature however is perhaps that it lets us easily set up a list of sounds it can select from in situations where there should be some variety in the sound that is played. The example shown in the screenshot is when you press the wrong button while struggling in the escape system, where it now chooses randomly from any sound file starting with EIGrunt.

I look forward to the day when gagtalk and voice will be implemented. In particular, I would be happy if the day when gagtalk was implemented soon came.
