Greetings once again! It's time for another weekly glimpse into our development progress!

This week we started working on some proper graphics for the interrogation system. The idea is that some of the people you interrogate are unique story-related characters, while others are more generic ones (think pirate grunts, bandits etc).
What we are attempting with the generic characters is to give them a somewhat different look and personality each time, which means we introduce some randomness into the mix. That is why on the left you can see hair, body, clothes, eyes, mouth etc on different layers. Within a captive "type" (for example bandit), she can have a randomly mixed set of body, hair, clothes, eyes and personality, making the task of gathering intel from them a bit more unique each time.

While we do have multiple artists sharing the workload now, we try to keep the style consistent enough that you as a player won't be able to tell without tracing the same base over and over.
Anything from body proportions to line dynamics can break the consistency. That is why Seles is also included in this screenshot. Hopefully most of you will not be able to tell that these two were drawn by two different artists when this is ready to be put into the game :)

Until the next post~
