How could the live action be more animated than the anime? Make it make sense! I agree they could be pushing for the after story. I find if funny that all three versions had a different dessert, and the one they chose for this was the famous strawberry cake.🤣🤣🤣

Soooooooo… I’m watching only to satisfy my curiosity, because yeah, who cares at this point, this version’s got no real heart. They absolutely must be rushing through the original volumes to get to the new ones as maybe there’s an assumption (mostly correct I’d say) that most of the anime viewers are familiar with the Japanese live action version, and therefore they’re racing through the familiar material to get to fresh material. Whatevs though, it’s not working well. There were six volumes of the manga published in Japan just as the live action version was wrapping up its original run in Dec 2020. As of Dec 2023, the 13th volume was just published in Japan. (Nine volumes are published in English so far, with the 10th coming at the end of February, 2024.) I’ll continue with the animé, but there’s little anticipation attached to it for me. Josie, re: the art/style of the animé. The faces match the manga. The manga is in black and white, however, just line drawings really, so the backgrounds are barely filled in, in it, as opposed to the way they are fleshed out here in colourful detail, so it does feel both familiar and different to me.

Hey Tia Josie, If you don't normally watch Anime or like its pace and rhythm its hard to get into it regardless of the subject matter/story line. It took me a long time to like it. Are they rushing maybe but there is a lot of story in the Manga or added that live action did not even touch on. I am a reader (novel)then watch the movie kind of girl so yeah i been disappointed may times.. not as good as the book...I have now watched 15-20 BL/Yaoi/ anime so they have grown me probably wont ever read the manga! so there my 2 cents.
