Kiseki: Dear to Me - Episode 8.5

This special episode was so well done. J is a super charismatic and promiscuous flirt (remember how he blackmailed ZY into sheltering him and treating his wounds and then kissed him? How he referred to his face as his money maker? He knows what he's doing). That selfie with J and the psycho, above, is a great bit of narrative and of filmmaking (showing, not telling, what happened). J did indeed seduce that broken man with a lolly pop and a photo. That's the turning point of this series and why it deserved a special ep.

I think Jheruei was just being nice, he's naturally a flirt byt i think he was judt being nice to ZC. Idt it was a betrayal / double cross, even if he ( ZC )feels it is. Jheruei gave him many chances to stop his "war" with ChenYi. Man had to pick a side (the selling drugs to high schoolers) was the last straw 🤷🏿‍♀️

We definitely need a sweet love story for our two actors. Happy ending for everyone. This would have been even stronger if they made it an hour episode. Great job for all actors.

They definitely covered a lot of ground in a short time span and I had picked up that Zhang Teng liked Jherui when they showed the lollipop scene in original episode as I could tell he felt like like someone saw him and actually cared about him. This special episode sealed the deal by further emphasizing they were dealing with similar situations but Zhang Teng had it worse. He probably needed someone like Zherui in his life before he killed his abusive father, that's kind of sad 😔. Also Tita Josie please don't bring up that History movie with those two, I'm still mad about that series, I had to keep going back thinking wait was that for real. Anyway I can't wait till episode 9 next week.

This is my take: Jherui's flirting with ZT inadvertently caused the tragedy of ZT's death, J's amnesia, BZ's imprisonment and subsequent amnesia, as well as other fall out we have yet to learn about. It's not his "fault" in the sense that he intended it, but it is a result of him playing in gangland without knowing how to read the room. I love him. This is not an indictment but an interpretation of the story.

They have made me relive Zhang Teng's death...the pain of History, Make your Days count is now complete!😥😭 You're right Tita, they need their own show where no one dies.😬 This fills in the missing psycho link from episode 8.
