Can someone explain to me what is going on in Japan culture where all the submissive men don’t think they deserve to be loved? Like with the beautiful man, until the end of the world oh I forgot the last one. I usually hate flashbacks but the love and sincerity was mutual. In the case of beautiful man S1 and end of the world, they were bullied/humiliated by their lovers so that's part of why they would feel unworthy. Yoh was also bullied by Mizuki's friend group if not by Mizuki himself. However after all this time with Mizuki, the fact that Yoh still has no clue of Mizuki's genuine feelings is a bit weird, and it's also sad that he would stay with Mizuki if he believes Mizuki cares nothing for him. That's where the idol worship piece comes in.
