The transitions from past the present was so confusing they don’t know how to edit correctly

I feel this series started off good but as it "drags on" it is going down hill fast. We need some intrigue, murder or just some bad behavior to spice this luke warm series up. Transitions to the dreams etc. are more entertaining than the real story.
