my mother passed away 4 years ago and since then i haven’t really been in touch with my emotions, i don’t really express them/cry that much and when minoru was explaining by how he first felt relieved when his mother passed, it really got me a little emotional because i felt the exact same way. both for how she’s no longer hurting and how i’m no longer wondering when or how it will be after, etc etc. wow! i really love this series, i don’t know what it is but japan just puts out such heartwarming/feel good shows. also side note: whenever minoru or anyone says yutaka, i just shout yukata like tane haha so cute

I think they edited the scenes backwards for the preview on purpose. I think the running is towards and before the confession ;)
