anger, rage! those were my words and emotions while watching the episode! I so wanted Uea to slap this so-called mother! Seriously seriously being married to such shit and protecting him like that, my blood is on the boil

Nathan

I mean - to resign, is this how he is “fighting”? How about record all those “meetings” with Krit, preferably with a video, collect the evidences of how often he asked Uea to work overtime and send it all to HR? Or go to the police? This is 21st century, it is now easier to deal with bullies. You can’t just resign and the other guy is left unpunished omg.

Playing devils advocate here: But sometimes getting away or removing yourself from a situation you believe you can't win is the best you can do. From Uea's perspective, Krit has all the power. Not only is Krit his boss but Krit is the nephew of the big boss(nepotism). He has no reason to believe the big boss will believe him over his nephew. If the higher ups cared about fairness Bas wouldhave gotten the job not Krit. Also being made to work overtime(paid) technically is not a crime, so that alone won't be helpful. Given all this I can see why he would want to leave🤷🏿‍♀️🤷🏿‍♀️

It depends in which context and how that overtime was requested. Here, the work is due next week, but Krit is asking to do it immediately. Also, he uses overtime as a blackmail, so technically it is harassment. And he asks for overtime to redo the work, which is not justified from the business point of view and he does it on a regular basis. There are more than enough proof to build the case. I understand why Uea left, there are those who can go against bosses, there are those who can’t. There is no shame in it, but it cannot nevertheless be called “fighting”, it is in any case - running away. Also, I understand from the preview of the next episode that his colleagues found a way to deal with Krit, so here you go…

I agree with all the points you are making, all I'm saying is. He may not think he could do anything about because of the amount of nepotism in the company. Yes it seem they did!

So proud of Uea for leaving for his safety cause Krit is horrible & has no shame and Uea mother doesn’t deserve the title mother she’s so horrible 🤦🏽‍♀️

This whole episode made me 😠. I just want Uea to get some rest mentally and get away from all the evil people he has around them. Also it wasn't Uea's fault but I agree with you Tita Josie, once Krit locked the door I would've been out or before I went in there said I had to use restroom first and go wait for King but I understand the heat of the moment he probably couldn't think that quick and maybe he didn't expect Krit to be that blatant about it. Also King come on , you know he doesn't like Krit, it was easy to see how scared he was, he shouldn't have taken his frustration with the situation out on Uea, that's not what he needed then. Here's hoping they talk it all out next episode.

An unbelievable crescendo of crazy here. No child should ever have to hear such awful “I wish I’d never had you” type things from his mother, let alone be dealing with a pedophile stepfather, and a lecherous, family-protected manager at the same time. What a toxic brew. With things not good between him and King at that point, I was worrying this might lead to a suicide attempt, but at least we see Uea preserving himself by getting out of town, and then of course the preview pretty much indicates that his hero is back in hero mode next episode. Going to dive into that right away!!!

This episode was very traumatic, but I'm glad that Uea made it through! 💖
