Ok, Phupa annoys me so much!!! he had so many chances by now to say whats on his mind, he disappeared for 10 years which is not nice thing to do. And now, ep 5 already and he didn't/doesn't fix it. Shame.

I know Phu just made me so upset. And that he’s just wasn’t brave enough to tell him he loves him. That’s an excuse to make yourself feel better and justify his actions. And I hate that we have to wait so long to see the next episode.

My reaction was just like yours Tita Josie. I was ok with the first couple of episodes but when I was reminded of how he wasn't even in Melbourne in episode 4 when he was talking to grandma I got so angry on Nan's behalf. So when this happened I too was like yes yes tell him. Phu really ram away and hid in plain sight and had his family lie for him. Apparently he also has stage fright in life. I mean I understand it's hard as they were friends forever but it's like he went into witness protection program or something like come on. I can see some months, I'll even give him a year but 10 years.

Phu really pissed me off in this episode. He was being a good friend (boyfriend in his mind) But he is a grown ass man---step up to the plate and swing man! I do not think he will lose with Nan. If he can open a business and run his life ok that tells me he has more than 2 brain cells to rub together...I just wish he would use them for the most important thing in his life...Confessing his love to his long time love. Nan is so absent minded when it comes to matters of the heart, or is he just acting hat way? No one his age is that naïve. The 10 year absent is just carrying something a bit to far...after 10 years everyone moves on in some manner.

I feel like the change in director from the mini-series to the full series really affected the series negatively. Hopefully now that we're back to the dramatic feel from the mini-series (it seems), the rest of the episodes will be better. 💖
