There a 2 part mini episodes you should watch that’s 45 minutes long each. It’s a backstory explaining why Phu left and the aftermath. Basically he left because he so madly in love with him. Oh the guy you couldn’t place, his name is Boss. He’s been in some crappie shows like Nitiman, What Zabb Man (he has am amazing tattoo up 6 pack body) however he shouldn’t do BL’s😂🤣

I also love Chiang Mai, I love northern Thaï food 🥘)) The prequel is worth watching to understand why Phu left and why he decided to finally come back and find Nan. That’s because of the last message that Nan sent him…🥲

I got that feeling that he was so madly in love with him because the way when they were sitting on the couch, he was on the floor and he was on the couch. There was tension there, and then he left the next day. Where can I watch the mini episodes

The last like 15 seconds, I was getting irritated and frustrated in the hallway. I hate when they go to that extreme and keep missing each other. It drives me crazy. But it was really cute. I liked it they want to give us heartbreak in the first episode I’m like oh my, is this gonna be heart wrenching. I don’t know if I can take it.

General remark about the prequel and the series. I watched prequel and 2 episodes of the Promise. I was really surprised because both are so different in tone. It worth noting that two do not have the same director. Directors are different. The prequel was so dramatic, it can really make you cry whereas the Promise changed the tone - it is much more lighter, less dramatic. For example, after you saw the prequel you would expect their first encounter after 10 years to be explosive, dramatic, very emotional - but there was nothing like that. Anyway, not saying it is bad, they just took the different direction. But the series still look good after 2 episodes, no doubts about that.

Yeah, I just watched the prequel and it was dramatic. I cried so hard. And I could definitely tell that the promise is a different tone. It’s lighter. I’m really excited to see their love story because it’s going to be beautiful.

I looked it up - so Phu is played by the actor who previously was a model.. Ok that explains it, the hotness )). Funnily, when they showed them as kids, Phu was smaller and chubbier than Nan, but when they are adults, suddenly Phu became much taller than Nan )).
