Before I watch the rest of the reaction, just wanted to let you know they confirmed at the press conference today that they have an upcoming series together 😊 Not sure under which company but they did tell everyone that there is more coming although this was supposed to be their last BL series together.

I like the actors here quite a lot (some more than others), and the characters they play too… but I’m less satisfied with writing and directing choices for the unfolding of the plot, which often felt laboured to me. So I’ll miss these characters, but if they were to ever return, I’d like to see more accomplished hands pulling the strings.

Also, this Cut / Uncut concept they have on Youtube - it just chops and breaks down episodes completely. How it benefits following the storyline? I understand the rationale behind - to get more memberships, but I am not sure it is working this way. GMMTV for example are not doing it for their series and for a reason.

And when you think people were waiting for 3 years for this series to come out? Apart from writing and directing, I’d also add some acting classes for some of the actors. Simply, because the competition in BL industry is getting more and more fierce and you have more and more choices - so you need to show good stuff for people not to switch the channels so to speak.

Until We Meet Again is, of course, a Thai BL absolute must-see. It leaves Between Us feeling like a sidebar, even if I was a fan of its characters, and happy to see them (Win even more than Team for me). Again was good enough to make you want to watch its side-characters in their own story, whereas if you were starting with Between, was what we saw of Pharm and Dean in it enough to make anyone watch Again? Not even slightly. At least it was recognized that there wasn’t 17 episodes worth of material this time… but we could have easily gotten everything here in 10.

I’m sad it’s over. 🥲 Sigh. I watched it on their site but I also had to watch it here too to see your reactions… I was so waiting for the Waan and Tul part, lol. 😜 Maybe they could do a short series with them. We didn’t get enough of that couple. The side couple could be Manaow and Pruek since they are still so cute. Oh well. It was still emotional and fun. 🥰
