I really like the actor playing Zhang. He reminds me a bit of the late Leslie Cheung. One more episode to go, I will miss this drama dearly. One of my favourites this year. Wish it paves the way for more bl lakorns or bl period series.

I really like the scene Lee served herbal tonic to Jiu (and Bua) before going to fight Ma. It's an uncomfortable, yet official, gesture to show her acceptance of Jiu into the Song's family as her son-in-law. The way Bua signaled to Jiu to accept Lee's tea, with a little nod, was super cute!! 😊😊

This series is getting better in every episodes.....the production , the dialogue , the story line , the acting....everything is top notch for a TV drama series....I wish this series will win a lots of awards next year .

Agree, a trully underrated story, tbh I was curiousbut not expecting much of it, and on a year that we had a bunch of good and a lot of not so goodbl dramas this one rised to the top of my list smoothly
