There's no guarantee that Talay and Puen are each others' portkey. As I understood it, a portkey doesn't have to be a romantic connection, it's just someone from your old universe who has also travelled. I don't think you even need to have known them. I haven't read the novel this is from (if there even is one? I'm just assuming because there normally is), so I don't know what's going to happen, but I think Puen is going to be forced back into his own universe by Nanon's character, Pakorn, finding his portkey first (and it won't be Ohm's character, whose name escapes me at the moment). Talay is going to be left behind (for at least a year or two) until either he finds his portkey or Ohm finds his, and even when he gets back to his own body he'll have no way of finding out who his "Tun" was. Which is where that girl, Pang, who was introduced and then never seen again, will come into play. She'll be the missing connection as Talay knows both her name and that she's an actor. At least, that's how I'd write it because I like characters to suffer before they get a happy ending.
