You know old fashioned washing machines that included wringers right above the tub? When the clothes were finished being washed, people would pull them out one at a time and push them through the wringers again and again and again to get every last drop out of them? I don’t know how you watched that without grabbing multiple tissues Josie! Maybe you did and jus did expert edits so we didn’t see it… certainly my sinuses and tear ducts were called upon for duty again and again, and I sure went through a pile tissues to sop it all up. Anyway, despite that, I wasn’t as upset as you were about Taohu losing his human form. As a dramatic device, ever since we were given that long intro to Tatarn several episodes back, I guessed and accepted that this might happen. What got me though was Nut, and everyone else who was left in Taohu’s churning wake, it was their reactions that got the empathetic waterworks responses outta me. For me, I Told Sunset About You is still at the top of my heap, but this is way up there among the top of the top of the runners up. It reminded me in some ways of the fantastical elements of Until We Meet Again and how everyone learns so much through them. This was a step more fantastical, and an even greater delving into past abuses and the immense efforts it takes to surmount them. It’s all rather amazing that it uses the fantastical elements in both very serious and very fun ways at the same time, treating it like “this is all to be taken at face value, this is what really happened, all the while smiling, winking, holding your hand while they whisper “it’s allegorical, we know” in your ear, surreptitiously. It’s an amazing balancing act and I love it for that. What a great troupe of actors. Everyone was spot on, such a triumph. I cannot not single out our two leads, but that’s maybe so obvious that I don’t need to say anything more about them. The actor who played Saen and Sib though I think should also be recognized for how he fully differentiated and realized two very different twin brothers, so,utterly convincingly. Wow. Anyway, after signing off now, I’ll be tapping all the actors entries in MyDramaList to see what else I may be able to see them in. Well, that was quite the ride. Night night!

Follow up: I’ve arrived home in Toronto where I have a Shiba Inu plushie, close enough to being a teddy bear… a teddy dog I suppose. I looked at it a little differently than I have before, gave it a pet along its back, said hello… but did not make out with it. Still, I gotta wonder… nah.

Tita Josie,I cannot express enough how much this series means to me. There are no words that I could say. This with UWMA and ITSAY are my three favorite series of all time. I haven’t cried so much for series before. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for watching this with all of us. And that was a wonderful and endearing ending. Not the one I expected but I really love that finale. It was more logical yet very emotional. Taonu was like a healing angel, a soul healer. It was predicable he goes back to his heaven. But the ending is full of hope and happiness. SongGen share a supportive family, Nut will be happy with Tarn, even Prib we can be joyful for her. The Miracle Of Teddy Bear is going to rejoin the pinnacle of the best series for me. Along Until We Meet Again, I Told Sunset About You, Make Our Day Count, and others... What a ride, what a journey. I will need some time to fully process all the emotions and feelings that have been poured in me. Thanks to you to have dared to see this very long series and share your emotions with us.

I really, really love this series. I was very satisfied with the bittersweet ending, though I understand how some people weren't happy with it. I really hope that more people continue to discover it as it really is an underrated gem. 🧸🥰💖

Ugh Team Tarn where y’all at?!?! It’s time to celebrate 🎉 I wanna say thank u so much Tita Josie for reacting to this. It’s been so much fun chatting here and watching your reaction. Episode 10 was da turning point for me. I fell in love with Tarn and couldn’t stop thinking of him. I love Tofu too and didn’t want this ending for him but as always he’s been so selfless when it comes to doing good so I’m happy that he was able to come back as a teddy bear looking out for Nut, Na, and Tarn.

I think that's part of the social commentary that this series had about how things really are in Thailand, that the rich get away with things so easily while others suffer. I hate that she got away with murder. I would completely watch a special episode where she gets her karma. Lol! 😡😝
