I get where you’re coming from re: Nut, Josie, but I’m not quite so pissed at him as I am pitying him as he seems to lashing out, out of fear, like something is still hidden from his past that makes him irrationally angry and distrustful. I know a couple of episodes ago you were telling me you thought we’d learn by now (from what you remembered) but I’m assuming the revelations of just what happened in his past are still an episode or two away. Meanwhile, the series is such a crazy blend of what appears to be some real-life trauma(s) being triggered again, and this way-out-there fantasy element. Based on how everything is being presented, we are being asked to accept the impossible, but we have the advantage of knowing it’s “true”. Nut only has this incredibly confusing situation to deal with, and as it seems to only be the icing on the cake of his childhood traumas… I don’t blame him for his desperation at what feels to him as entirely suspicious. Looking forward to Nut starting to get his head around what Tohu has told him… this human teddy bear I suppose is essentially his guardian angel coming to extract him from Nut’s effed-up past, and thank goodness Tohu seems to have inexhaustible patience, but it’s going to take a miraculous amount to love from Tohu to accomplish this, is my take now…

By the end of this series, Nut became one of my all-time favorite characters and Jobb (the actor who plays him) probably was my favorite actor from 2022. I have a lot of empathy for Nut's character now. 💖

The series is a deep diving in human psyche. We are in the middle of the series but still we have no clue about the origin of the anger of Nut. What could had made him to resort only with anger... It is puzzled me the most. While you were angry against Nut, I was feeling sad for him, he seems to have lost something more than trust in his past. Still I like the way song and Gen interact with Nut. Song is like the voice of the heart while Gen is the voice of reason. Have you notice that ^ Taonu cannot be something else but adorable because he is not human, he is actually a teddy bear ! The script is very clever here because it made us feels for just a toy (the acting is topnotch by the way). I got a weird thought: and if Nut was actually the one struggling with mental issue and hallucinating all the series. His mother suffering, his teddy bear being a human, his friends speaking to help but cannot really reaches his state. etc...everything created by his mental illness (schizophrenia actually)

Awww, that would really be sad if that was the case. 😭💔 They provided some hints in the past episodes that Nut was angry at his father being abusive, that there was something that happened in his relationship with Tatarn. We'll find out for sure in the next episodes, but in the meantime, I'm really, really enjoying this series! 🧸🥰💖
