This series is firing on all cylinders now! It was a Mohawk cut in the manga that Hashimoto was threatening to get, but easier drawn than pulled off in live action I suppose, especially if they’re going to add in the regent wig joke at the end! I’m really hoping that episode 8 and 9 will have Aoki starting to work at a ramen shop to earn money for a birthday gift for Ida. His senior at the ramen joint, a character named Saionji, is just the best. Looking forward to seeing what they will do with her… …and then there’s Okano, Aoki’s cram school tutor who should appear about the same time, and give Aoki a chance to tutor someone too!
