I often wonder how much effort these BLs put into getting medical conditions at least factually accurate. My dad had kidney failure, like Joe's mum. Dialysis wasn't just weekly, it was several times a week. Also like Joe's mum, he contracted Septicaemia and needed blood transfusions to treat it. Joe's mum's condition shouldn't be incurable. A kidney transplant will fix it. Can't comment on cost, though; we paid nothing because of our NHS.
