Dear patrons,

First and most important. Thank you for being my patron. It really means a lot to me to have you supporting my game development projects. Your satisfaction with what is made is my top priority. I've been making games for the public to enjoy for almost four years now!

I don't always have the opportunity to talk to everyone on a personal level, and some people prefer to remain that way. I understand considering the content that is being created. However, please know that my ears are always open. Don't hesitate to talk with me on any of my social media channels: discord, patreon, and twitter. Discord will always get you my fastest response.

I wanted to be transparent about how these games are being funded. Since 2019 at the beginning, before I started patreon, 100% of the cost of games being developed were funded exclusively by me, VidyaGameMaka. When Salubrious Scales was released in 2020, its sales did poorly and only recovered 1/10th of the development costs.

I was undeterred by the underperformance of Salubrious Scales and decided to make a new game. I first started with the pixel art base and raster graphics but after some comments from the community I decided to change the game to 100% pixel art. I am truly blessed that my pixel art team members are all-stars and make absolutely amazing art and animations.

Since the release of the DSB demo we had an initial growth spurt on patreon and have sat at about the same level for a few months. 100% of the patreon money is used to pay for the assets for the games and is also further supplemented by my full-time job income. Almost 100% of the money I make at my full-time job still goes towards game development. I do this because I am extremely passionate about game development and I want to succeed no matter what. I'm not doing game development for fame and fortune. I'm doing it because I love it. But I would also love to see Cherry Blossom Games grow into something that could really make some more fantastic games that we can't do as a primarily three person indie team on a shoestring budget.

I value you and I need you. I value you as a person and want you to be part of our furry community. No matter what happens I want you to be here with me. I don’t expect or could even dare to ask anyone to stay with me forever or increase pledges, this is why the patreon tiers have the same rewards. I feel you’re making the contribution you are most comfortable with and absolutely deserve access to everything we make. I’m here for the long haul and I won't stop making games no matter what.

I want to grow Cherry Blossom Games and be able to produce more of what you like but I need your help. It would help me and my team immensely if you could recommend our game and/or patreon to a friend. Tell them we’re here to make the awesome yiffy games of their dreams cum true. Even if you can only tell one or two people that would be genuinely appreciated.
