Starlings Summer Update (Patreon)

Hey friends!  Let me fill you in on the goings on.

The Starlings are moving!  It's gonna be quite the process, and between the months of June and August we will be very busy.  So we apologize in advance for gaps in content.  Let's dive into that and what you can expect this summer.

Writing

Academy Works - This our current main project, and five of the stories are already complete.  I can now say with reasonable certainty that the final number will be... *7*.  So... two to go.  Academy M (Part 6) is unlike the other five in a lot of ways, so look forward to that!  It will be the longest so far (it's already twice as long as Academy B... @_@).

Meta Moore - This is our current side-main project, and it will hands down be our longest story by the time we are done.  We have released 142 chapters so far, but we haven't released any in a few weeks.  This is because... Mia is writing Academy M. (Which means *spoilers* we are writing Academy M.) And... A:M is proving to be a lot longer than we expected.  We currently have 20+ chapters of MM written and edited, ready to go.  But we are stalled out until we finish cementing our A:M details.

Anno - Yes, it still exists.  Yes, we'll get back to it.  To be PERFECTLY honest, I'm working on a non ABDL project right now that is taking up a huge amount of my editing time.  But I'll be done with that in a few weeks.

Unbalanced - Yes, it still exists.  Yes, we'll get back to it.  But to be PERFECTLY honest, we will probably finish AW first, so it might be a bit.  I'm so sorry to the three people who actually read that! ;_;

Little Space - Please pester Pudding about it.  We all want more.

Light & Dark Scenes - This is a new thing!  Pudding and I used to write captions a long time ago.  But then we stopped because we realized that this was unfair to artists, and we like to grow and change as people.  But a lot of those captions, even without the pictures, are really hot.  So I'm releasing these with some edits.  Only 11 are available atm, but I promise I want to get in the habit of releasing them more regularly.

New Thing - Lyra is finishing up a new book!  I can't give you any details about it yet, but I would expect to see it sooner than you see more Academy Works. ^_~

IN SUMMARY OF THE ABOVE:
We are sorry for the lack of writing recently.  There will be another few weeks without any writing releases.  But when we are ready, there will be a huge influx of content.  Please bear with us!

Podcasts

The Usual Bet - No news, really.  As we move, we might have some "skipped weeks".  We give ourselves two weeks off a year, and we haven't used any of them yet.  So that might happen.  ALSO, for people enjoying our Perpetual Change gameplay, we fully intend to finish it before the end of the year.  Expect another episode somewhere in the 180s and the final one in the 190s.

The Changing Tabletop - I don't know if I've announced this yet??  But we are actually running a new game!  Lyra is our GM, and it uses the MonsterHearts2 system.  None of the content has been released because... well, we don't have any time to edit.  But I honestly think this is one of our most fun games yet!  It's going to appeal a lot to the tabletop players who like more fleshed out narratives with less combat. (But a LOT of drama!) Look forward to this soon!

300 Patrons - We made a deal a long time ago that if we ever got 300 patrons, Chloe and I (Sophie) would do a 300 hour potty training challenge that we made up. (That's 12.5 days!) We hit 300 last month, but we haven't started this yet.  It really comes down to us being very busy. >_< But we want to get this done sometime in June, so pay attention to the podcast and our picture channel on Discord for more info.  And probably Twitter.

Other Stuff

LegitFic - Kimmy's new website legitfic.com has been getting a lot more attention from authors and readers!  People are really enjoying the simplicity of the site and its Discord authentication.  But there are problems.  Namely, comments aren't a huge thing and they can be difficult to navigate.  And uploading stories has a few bugs.  Kimmy's goal has always been a haven for writers, and those two things are extremely important to a writer's quality of life and motivation.  Please keep using the site while Kimmy makes it better!  She's been a busy bee with the move, so she's a bit behind on where she'd like to be.  

Pics - Ya know.  We still take a lot of diaper pics.  But in particular, we've been more adventurous with our settings and situations.  We've been having more "Little" gatherings and outings with friends, and we've been establishing ground rules for safe public pictures that won't reflect badly on the community.  In short, if you're here to see our diapered butts, you have nothing to worry about. ^_^

Alright, uh.  That's it.  I'm pretty much just writing all this to explain to you why there isn't a ton of content right now, and why there might not be much in the very near future.  Everyone here at S&P really appreciate everyone's patience and support through this.  We hope to continue giving you something worth paying for. 💜
