Hi everyone!  Firstly, thank you all SO MUCH for supporting us.  We started this Patreon in the summer and right now we already have 22 people willing to donate to our writing.  That's just so amazing.  I never thought we would make it this far or that we would have so much interest.  I know 22 doesn't sound like a big number, but it means a whole lot to us. *teary eyed*

Secondly, I'm sorry about the slightly off-schedule caption updates.  We just put up two new ones and we are aiming for two more by the end of the week!  Then we'll try to keep the two-per week pace for a while. ^_^

Lastly, I want to talk about the future.  Pudding and I are really loving Patreon as a platform and DD as our sounding board for stories and free content.  But of course, we always want to make progress and move forward.

In 2018, we want to dedicate ourselves to the community.  We reworked our tiers a month or two ago so that $5 gets our patrons everything.  That was important to us.  There is nothing locked behind a higher tier.  Instead, things like $10 and $20 are more personal.  Short stories, personalized captions, Discord access, writing feedback, live-writing... things that strengthen our relationships with the community.  We want to keep that going.

We had our first poll the other day!  I'm going to open it up to the public soon and get some final input.  But I had a lot of fun with the poll and I think Pudding and I could incorporate it into our storytelling in the future!  Patreon-exclusive polls?  What do you think?

But these are just my ideas.  I want to know yours too!  What did you like about this year?  What do you want to see more of?  Are you here for the captions or the early-access stories or the ePubs?  Do you want to see more polls?  What content are we missing?

Please feel free to leave any comments on this post or any other!  I love knowing what everyone thinks and feels.

Again, and always, thank you all so much for your love and support!  I am so lucky.

~Sophie
