I rewatched AJ/Franklin yesterday and he’s done man. He’s so afraid of throwing any meaningful shots, he’s always pulling them early and not following through. It’s like watching a washed up basketball player double pump fake at the free throw line, or a golfer with the yips. As soon as he gets hit, even with a jab, he’s looking to hold whilst looking mindlessly outside the ring. His head is gone. 2023 is his retirement year, most likely. Wilder or Fury will KO him in December if Whyte doesn’t manage to do it himself. No amount of training will fix him.
