Excellent review. Thinking about Graham Hancock, human race anesthesia the final scene when water floods the city creating Shell Beach and no one has memories was interesting too. Never heard of this film, picked it up on Blu Ray and was quite surprised how similar to The Matrix it was in certain aspects. But then again you could say The Matrix also borrowed heavily from a Tom Baker Dr Who episode in the 1970s which featured a green matrix too. Really enjoyed this deep dive. 👍
