Hidemaru is an onmyōji, in fact, he's king shit of onmyōdō mountain. As the heir to the Tsuchimikado family and a direct descendent of Abe no Seimei, Hidemaru is an overwhelmingly powerful onmyōji, a class above literally any other sorcerer since his ancestor. His innate strength has made him cocky and somewhat lazy, but really, he's bored with life. He doesn't really relate to other people besides the heir of the Nijimori demon slayer family, who is probably the only person he's ever met stronger than he is.

Hide is an affable guy, constantly shirking his responsibilities until the last minute and chasing after material pleasures, but he always comes through in the end.
