So I finally got around to playing through Treat and Mochi. I'm going to play the new one next, but I wanted to share my feedback on these two first. I loved them both, of course. I'm glad that their reception has been similar. But I thought that if I could come up with something original to say about them, then it would be worth commenting here. Here we go. Let's give it a try. First of all, I liked the lore in Eleni's bookshelf. Leave it to a writer to play a video game for the text, but there it is. There was social commentary cloaked in fantasy, which is nothing new, but you managed to make it fresh and interesting. I was surprised and delighted. It definitely seems like that kind of thing works best when it sneaks up on people. For a long time I didn't get this. I thought it was about not preaching to people or something. Now I realize that it's part of how it works. You help people see things in a new way. Later, while going for 100% in Mochi, Manjuu was yelling at Mochi after Treat saves her and it suddenly hit me that the whole bigger story of this series is that way. Some people go overboard and tie characters, races, whatever to real life, and even beyond just seeming like they have an ax to grind, they lose me. But on the other hand, a story needs something I can identify with. It has to make me feel something. So it seems like there has to be a balance. The balance is perfect here. That's all from me! Thank you so much, and keep it coming! Nathan
