where i've been and where i'm going (Patreon)

hello little people in my phone!! how are you guys doing? it's me again. i've been gone for a little bit and i have come back barring gifts of fundamental truths and perspective of the highest order ! (i.e youtube and patreon updates :)

Part 1: Patreon

I know I've been a little inactive on here recently, that's my bad, but you should see more stuff soon! I have a bunch of director's commentaries, q&a's, and interviews coming your way. In order to maximize my creative procccess with videos I have to cut off all other avenues for a while when I'm deep into it. Currently, that's what I'm doing. I have a massive video coming your way soonish. I'm even considering getting an editor to do some of the Patreon content just because of how much more work the videos have become as of late. I have a ton of exclusive interviews and stuff that you might find interesting, so hopefully, you'll see that soon. 

Part 2: Videos

My goal is to have 2 videos out in December. Yes, you heard that right, 2 mia cole videos in the same month. The first of which is a video I have been teasing all year, and I'm so excited for you to see it... It may or may not be an hour long :)... The second video will be a culmination piece of everything I've made this year, and will hopefully tie up all the loose threads I've laid out over the last year. It also may or may not include A LOT of familiar faces... With all that being said, the videos are getting way bigger in scale, I think you'll definitely notice that in the next couple of videos but especially, next year. I hope you will all be impressed by the step up in quality. I have a lot of plans and Patreon allows me to make them happen so I appreciate your supporting me. Patreon is my main source of revenue so thank you for helping me create the things I make.

Part 3: Next Year

As I was saying, the videos are going to keep getting bigger and bigger in scale. I have so much more I want to explore and truly we are just getting started. Here are some of my goals for next year: 1.) 270K subscribers. I know that sounds specific but I don't care about a silver plaque I just need to pass CJ The X and then I will be content with whatever. 2.) Documentary. This year I made what was originally a full mini-doc about a SoundCloud rapper. However, due to trying to make it more algorithm friendly, I ended up deforming it into a 13-minute youtube video that plays to the algorithm and focuses too much on retention. What did I learn? Never again. Next time I make something like that, I will not play the game. That is wrong, and I am genuinely mad at myself for doing that, but I have learned, and next time you will see the full vision to the best of my ability. 3.) Short Film??? I've been saying that for the last 3 years so who knows? Maybe don't put too much stock into that one, but a girl can dream.

In conclusion: It's been a really fun year, but next year shit is gonna get crazyy lolololol, anyway... thanks for letting me do what I love, appreciate you fuckers. See you soon <3
