Through the Clouds


I think this is the first time applying my parallax technique to a top-down scene. It was challenging but a lot of fun to set up the scene. Finding a suitable color palette that captures depth and atmosphere was half the challenge. I ended up using colors from Bright Future. The many bright, low saturation colors in this palette are good for creating detailed, yet distant landscapes. I also found it challenging to imagine the light and shapes of the clouds from this perspective, but I'm happy with how it came together in the end. Hope you like it!
