Frequent visits to her relatives in Paris exposed Leila to the fashion world at a young age. She always had natural drawing ability and loved sketching her own clothes designs. On her 10th birthday she got a sewing machine from her parents and began learning how to make her own clothes. In order to get closer to the fashion world she was so passionate about, Leila attended high school in Paris through an exchange program. There she made several foreign friends, including some Japanese, ultimately becoming aware of The Academy of Zed. Through great efforts, she was awarded a scholarship to this elite school. Now, in her first year in Tokyo, she’s determined to make a statement with her unique French/Algerian style that balances elegance with flamboyance.
