The month of May has always been one of my favorite times of the year. Here in the northern hemisphere warm climate makes a welcome return. But I also like May because it's the last month of the school year in public schools around here. I was never a big fan of school as a kid and I rejoiced the chance to escape the institution. Even as an adult without the privilege of a 3 month vacation, I still get excited at the potential of the season and the return of greenery.

The schedule starts with another week of gamedev before I delve back into regular content, but you're still getting the full regime. Prairie Churches will finish this month and be wrapped up with a gallery of all the churches on the 21st. A new poll for the next Pixelminis series will release in the first half of the month. I have some ideas but any suggestions are welcome.

I'll be following the same process as last month for another epic Mondo piece. I'm really enjoying sharing the work in progress as I go, and I hope you appreciate the lengthy descriptions. They help me unpack the feelings going through me as I create, but also provide insight into the process.

For the Pixelblog, I'm thinking about going back to basics to help beginners get started. This will include info on the programs I'm familiar with, the hardware I use, setting up your canvas, general workflow tips, study tips, and insight into my creative process that artists of all skill levels should find valuable.

Thank you so much for supporting me and allowing me to bring you the goods. Cheers!
