The reaction I have with this piece is one of wonder. As in what is happening, and it is hopefully good. Textures are very appealing and shifting to more warmth. Oddly I know the shaft of light is perpendicular yet it seems at a very slight angle. Seems to add something...

Something special happened with this piece. Color, texture, composition, everything came together so painlessly with beautiful results. A lot of it has to do with the build up and shift in mood presented here. Feels good to escape the ever darkening forest, but I bet you’re still unsure if things will end well.
