Idk if y'all are interested in graphic design but I thought it would be fun to take you through a commission I recently got from my friend Suspu!   But before all that you should read his other two comics and also his new comic on patreon :3c

OKAY so first step was just getting a zillion different fonts in a line and then holding them up and going "Do you like any of these at all does this spark any Joy in you"

Luckily we were on the same page about Zolasixx which is a font that I downloaded just for this because the ones I had I felt didn't really vibe with what I want. (Scifi, obviously but also a bit more actiony. But we also agreed it'd be good to have a bit of distress on it for that kind of uhhh 'western/desert' feel.

Side note; I recommend creative market for a lot of things, but especially because they have a little 'free downloads' option every week where they often have cool stuff you can grab and play with!

it's also useful because it lets you type in words to preview how it will look and get a feel for it. The reason I really liked it was because I fell in love with how the "LA" was already formatted that way

Evanto elements is also a good tool if you do a subscription to them and you get like unlimited downloads and they have fonts / 3D things / video things/ etc etc. Very neat! They don't always have exactly what I need but it is a very good jumping off point (also if you do have a subscription with them - there are sometimes fonts that overlap. So def before you buy a font somewhere else check and make sure whether or not its on here first https://elements.envato.com/ ) 

From there my Illustrator board is kind of a mess as I'm grabbing stuff and pulling it around and leaving other versions in the past to save that in case I don't like the version I end up working on LMAO until I finally settle on something more concrete!
