Concept - Sun Child (Patreon)

One of two concepts I'm pitching to WEBTOON to see if they are interested in either of them :) if one doesn't work out then I'll see if I can find another way to pitch that as a traditional graphic novel or somethin! 

Logline:

Trea has had peace for 3 millennia. Old gods and magic have faded slowly into obscurity and myth. But the centipedes are returning.

Young elf Laira  is excited for the chance to confess to her crush. But Varren has been acting strangely and the abandoned Sun Temple they stumble upon has something terrible buried underneath it....

Short Synopsis:

Laira accidentally summons Karas - a warrior who has been dead for 3000 years - after her childhood friend tries to sacrifice her to a long forgotten evil. Now Karas must train her to be the new Sun Champion so they can stop Varren from freeing the Centipede God inside the core of the planet and breaking it in two.

Laira is thrilled to be a part of something important. Karas just wants to get this over with so he can go back to being dead and reunited with his husband in the Gardens.
