And right behind Karlach also comes the first part of my second project ongoing right now: Laudna! Progress is much slower, but it's there :)

I pretty much bought most of my needed materials in a local fabric shop!

First thing, I airbrushed some skin texture onto a simple white body suit. Then, I drew on the tree pattern with a fabric pen. It'll later be covered with black lace fabric.

Next, I made the bones hanging on her hip with foam clay and cling foil as inside :D The cling foil isn't that necessary though. After it dried, I painted and weathered them with simply acrylic paint and brushes. They were then partly glued (using superglue), partly knotted to some red band that you can find in every fabric shop.

For Laudna's skirt, I first made a suuuper simple mockup using an old duvet cover fabric (bought second hand). I had to adjust the lower part later. Then, I transfered the shape onto my actual fabric, a rather stiff one. Then again, I drew on the tree pattern with the fabric pens (needed two of them). Then I ironed the fabric so that the color was sealed and won't fade while washing.

I put on the same shaped piece of black lace fabric on top, but not on the backside, since that one will be covered by the purple dress thingy later. The oart was tricky since the grey fabric isn't stretchy while the lace one is. I sew in a zipper and an elastic band on the waist part, so it fits well :)

For hands, I don't know yet whether or not I'll use these, but I still had some welovecolor gloves at home :) I used polyester dye to dip dye (for ombre effect) the tips. Normal fabric dye won't work!

To be continued in the next part :)
