Alrighty, here's the second half of the entire making of process for this cosplay <3

So like I always do for my armor, to get the shape of the leg and arm armor right, I wrapped myself in cling foil and duct tape again :) This was tricky to get off haha. Anyways, I then cut the pieces up into smaller parts, not following a specific system, just how I feel it's right. I traced the outlines onto my foam (using 5mm foam from Cosplayshop for the arms and 2mm for the leg), cut everything out and glue the pieces back together.

Then, I roughly sketched the design onto the parts. Since you can't really see much in the reference images, I winged most of the design :) I searched the entire flat for several round objects of different sizes and cut out countless of half-moons that I then glued onto the armor bases. I also glued fabric to the insides, mainly because 2mm foam is not sturdy at all, but also it'll be much better for the skin to wear.

For the lower arm part, I glued in magnets again (like for belt and neck armor), strengthened by pieces of fabric. For the backside of the calf armor, I glued in a zipper! Also, as you might see, I divided the leg armor into two parts to keep my leg movable. Underneath I'll wear my black knee bandage, but you can simply make a quick sleeve too :)

Afterwards, I primed everything again with Plasti Dip and then it was cel shading time again. Goddness, it took me several entire days painting everything. Also, Melinoe is wearing that simple thigh bracelet, that I glued an elastic band into, so that hopefully it won't slide down my thigh as soon as I take some steps :)

Next up, I took my airbrush and put in dark details into the wig. The wig was also too long as soon as I put on the wreath, so I cut it shorter as well while I was at it.

And last but not least, I airbrushed some texture onto my dress. To prevent myself from ruining another dress, I tried it out on the old, steined dress before moving on to the next one. I have a speedpaint video of airbrushing the dress right HERE, if you wanna watch that too <3 I was so scared but it was worth doing this!

And that's it! All that's left is to varnish the new armor pieces (need to rebuy because mine is used up) as well as taking some photos! Results will roll in very very soon <3 I hope you enjoyed this! If you want to, I'd be SO happy about some feedback, like how you like these making of posts <3

Much much love!
