(WIP) [ANIMATION] LNA_02 "Background" (Patreon)

Hey, this was... actually really easy. I think the one I did many moons ago, of the classroom, was like, so goddamn hard that everything else is simple in comparison. I still need to finish that one. I'll get back to it eventually.

Anyways, I dunno if this reads well, I hope it does. I initially thought about doing a night scene, pictured here, but I'm kinda on the fence about it. I was like "Oh man, her red eyes will look so cool glowing in the dark, and she'll be highlighted by moonlight, it'll be fucking schweet" and then the base turned out pretty fine on its own, and it's easier to read. Plus I think they're in Hell, and I don't think Hell has a moon. I need to actually watch the show, goddamn. Drawing this did give me an Invader Zim vibe though, which I'm sure was intentional. I mean, the Invader Zim voice actor is in it, right? He voices this guy, Moxxie, who from what I've gathered, uh, gets pegged. And all I have to say about that is, some guys get all the luck. Do they like, show that? Did the Invader Zim man voice it? Could you imagine? You're a middle-aged voice actor, beloved across the world for all your iconic voice roles, when you get hired by a horny girl a third your age with crowdfunding money, and she tells you "Alright, now we're doing the pegging scene. Let me hear your best feminine moan." Man. Some guys get all the luck.

Anyways, that's the background, I may go back and goof around with it more, especially the composition of everything, but next up is the Base Animation. I definitely want to be doing backgrounds as a standard from now on, it totally gives this one a proper feeling. I can really imagine it being this room with a hot late-summer evening feel to it. Maybe because I'm currently in a room with a hot late-summer evening feel to it, but I also get that feeling from this piece now. It has a sense of presence and space, like it's actually in an environment. No more white voids. "Oooh, with a pink bar!" Yeah, enough of that.
