Update: Treasure Island & PoseViewer (Patreon)

Hey everyone,
Happy New Year 🥳
We hope you had a smooth transition from 2023 to 2024 and that you are all happy and healthy!
As you know I caught the flu and was probably also just too burned out and had to take it easy for a couple of days.
But our Lead coder got hit harder and he is currently out of order... Which unfortunately also means a Delay for PoseViewer because of the missing cumshot System. We don´t know when he will be fit again (hopefully soon!) but we just have to wait. And health always comes first for our Team. Since we want a sustainable work/life balance.
So besides the Delay on that part, we made amazing progress on Treasure Island!
And thank you all for the great feedback and bug reporting!
So what have we been up to?
A short list and additional explanation to the Video:
- Bug Fixing of course!
- We now got the first implementation of interactive Water = we have ripples and splashes. It´s still basic but already adds a lot. The dark box is just there so you can better see the ripples.
- We improved the Feet a lot. As you can see in the video the before and after, there is a big difference on the feet. We still need to figure out the weird knee-wiggle issue, so please ignore the knees for now and really only look at those nice feet 😉
- We improved the transition from OnLand to InWater (walking, running, sprinting to swimming and diving). Not only does the system detect the state better, the actual transition looks a lot better
- We improved the swimming in general and ironed out a couple of bugs
- We improved the diving system. So depending on your height there is a difference in how deep you go and a couple of other things. And yes, at some point we will have a nice detection system for proper and more graceful options 😉 I can totally see us doing a mini-game for different poses. You first need to learn them and then some simple, yet challenging controls to strike a great pose/dive. That´s not yet on our list but I would really love to add that (maybe as DLC) at some point. But first, we need to finish the main Game 😋
- We are testing the first Minimap and Map system. What you can see in the Video is just a general test and not final at all. But what we will have is a Map for sure and the Minimap may be optional/hideable (if that is an English Word). That´s something we can all test together and figure out 💕I am personally a fan of as little UI as possible.
- We are also testing some first Quest indicators. Again: super WIP and just for testing purposes.
- A working compass at the top will also be added (not yet working) indicating where your quest objective is. Distance maybe also. But here again: something we can all figure out together 💕
We might also have a playable update for you next week. Nothing fancy, just the implementation of what I showed in the video.
